Vince Schreck
Vince Schreck started doing yoga in 2000 with Timo Jimenez at Yogapada in Portland, Oregon. Around 2002, he took Tias Little’s Advanced Teacher Training in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and was teaching with Timo shortly thereafter. While at Yogapada, Vince was fortunate enough to take several workshops with some incredible teachers including: Ranjani, Ramanand Patel, Kristin Locke, Nicholai Bachman, Tias Little, and Peter Sterios.
Vince holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership, and works for Portland State University as an Instructional Designer. Vince uses his background in education to help vary his pedagogical approach to teaching yoga. His classes are always grounded, yet stylistically-unpredictable, and he enjoys mixing things up a bit with “wall work,” strength building sequences, alignment principles, and philosophical discussions about why we all do yoga.
