Shambhavi Saraswati

Shambhavi Sarasvati is the spiritual director of Jaya Kula, a Portland, Oregon nonprofit organization grounded in the Indian tradition of Kashmir Shaivism and the teachings of Sat Guru Sri Anandamayi. Shambhavi trained in a traditional Gurukula system in the View and practices of Kashmir Shaivism. She has been fortunate to have also trained with several great teachers in other nondual traditions. She is an initiate in the lineage of Paramahamsa Satyananda Saraswati of Rikhia, India and received permission to teach from her diksha Guru. Shambhavi teaches traditional, direct-realization Tantra in ways that can be easily integrated into daily life. Her non-mystical View is that spiritual practice is a way to learn about and live in the fullness of Reality. This is Self-realization. Nothing more or less.
