Meaghan Gannett

Meaghan Gannett joyfully teaches a balanced style of Iyengar yoga (detail and alignment), Ashtanga yoga (movement and breath in unison) and Jivamukti style yoga (integrating philosophy, music and chanting).

She has studied yoga since 1990. In 1995 she fell in love with yoga at the Jivamukti Yoga Center in N.Y.C. where she studied intensively with David Life and Sharon Gannon for 5 years. In 2000 she moved to the Bay Area where she completed her teacher training with Sarah Powers in 2001. Other teachers that have had a great effect on her practice and teaching are Tias Little, Lisa Walford, Georg Feuerstein , Jack Cornfield, Katchie Gaard and Leagh Nicole. She gives thanks to all her teachers for their wisdom and inspiration!!!

Meaghan enjoys practicing and teaching yoga with an emphasis on philosophy which inspires freedom from fear and doubt and most of all inspires HAPPINESS!
