Class Level Descriptions –
Level 1: For beginners and those who would like a gentler class. Learn and practice basic postures within a given style, as well as fundamentals of breathing and alignment.
Level 2: For continuing beginners and those working on establishing a consistent yoga practice. A stronger class for those familiar with basic postures, vocabulary and concepts. Depending on style, may include more flow and introductory inversions and pranayama.
Level 3: For advanced beginners or those who have been practicing steadily for more than one year. Students should have a strong standing practice. Classes may include backbends, inversions and pranayama.
Level 4: For those students who have developed a consistent ongoing practice. Students should have a strong standing practice and basic understanding of backbends, inversions, and pranayama. At least 2 years practice or teacher’s approval advised.

Individual Instruction & Yoga Therapy
Individual Yoga Instruction can be arranged with any of our teachers. Yoga Therapy teachers are Jody Kurilla and Nandini Ranganathan.
Private Instruction is available for half hour to two hour sessions. Privates are a valuable way to increase your knowledge about specific and individualized practices as well as a good place to come for yoga therapeutics.
Yoga Therapy uses many tools of yoga including asana, chanting, prananyama (breath), meditation and visualization. The careseeker may come for physical pain issues as well as help with a personal practice for stress, emotional components, or to help one through a difficult time in life.
The greatest benefit of a private is that you get a practice designed by an experienced professional that is created specifically for YOU – your body, your personality, your problems, helping YOU to connect spiritually. Personalized practices often allow for more effective and more quickly achieved results.
Rates for private sessions vary depending upon the teacher and length of sessions.
