Vinyasa 1
Working with a more flow oriented practice, beginners are guided through various sequences to increase stamina, strength, and flexibility. Learn and practice the basic asanas (postures). Also a great class for those who prefer a slower paced Vinyasa class. Fundamentals of alignment and breathing are explored. New students are welcome.
Vinyasa 2
Bridges the gap between the basics and intermediate classes, focusing on building strength, stamina, and flexibility. For experienced or stronger beginners.
Vinyasa 3
Come to class prepared to move. This challenging class will flow, connecting the classical yoga postures through various sequences, linked by the power of breath to transform and strengthen the body. Students should have 4 months recent yoga experience, and have a solid foundation with the basic hatha yoga postures and sun salutations. May include inversions and backbends.
Breath Focused Vinyasa and Meditation
Krishnamacharya’s mission was to bring the promise of yoga to all, in particular, its healing qualities. Following in this tradition, this class offers you the potential to heal and improve your focus through the use of the powerful tools of yoga. You will explore movement with the breath, pranayama, and meditation using the techniques of sound, chanting, mantra, mudra and visualization. Applying theses techniques has the potential to change the way you look at the world by creating a healthier lifestyle. The pace is comfortable for beginner to advanced students.
