Fundamentals of Anatomy
This quarter long course explores the anatomical systems of the body and our relationship with movement. Includes the skeletal and muscular structures, nervous system, joint function, body patterning, movement, and the anatomy of breathing. It will provide a foundation for deepening one’s understanding of alignment, form, and the range of motion within the context of hatha yoga. This course is appropriate for the beginning yoga student as well as the teacher. It fulfills a required credit for the first year advanced study/teacher training program. All are welcome.
