ShalaKids Drop-in Child Care |
One of life’s greatest joys and challenges is being a parent! At the Yoga Shala, we celebrate you and your little ones as we understand how difficult it can be to maintain a regular yoga practice amidst the diaper changing, errand running, working, cleaning, and all of life’s other tasks.
We also recognize how important it is for you to take the time to
appreciate and care for yourself in order to remain grounded, healthy and happy. That is where we come in!
- Please call in advance to make a reservation, as space is limited. If you need to cancel for any reason please notify us as soon as possible so that the space can be available for other children at 503.963.YOGA.
- Please bring any items that your child may require during the session such as diapers, wipes, bottles, special toys snacks, etc.
- As a policy of ours, we ask that you do not bring your child if they are sick or have been exposed to any contagious or extreme illnesses. Thank you!

MR. STEVEN'S "TIPS FOR TOTS" |
1. Always pre-register, if you can, by contacting me at ShalaKids@gmail.com. Without enough notification from parents, we may need to turn away children at the door, in order to maintain the required adult-to-child ratio. With enough notification, we can add child care staff in order to accommodate more children.
2. Arrive 15 minutes early! The most common cause of unsuccessful child care drop-offs is stress from arriving just on-time for yoga class and lack of time to transition a child.
3. No more long goodbyes. When your child is transitioning and you are ready to leave, smile, say goodbye, give them a peck or a squeeze, and go! If your child senses you don't want to leave or you are concerned about them, they will instantly try to re-attach to YOU.
